BF Flotation Machine Simple Operating and Easy Adjustment Mining Machine
Introduction
Flotation machine is applicable to grading of non-ferrous and ferrous metal, also applicable to grading of nonmetals, such as coal, fluorite and talc. The impeller of flotation machine is driven by motor v-belt, centrifugal effect is thus produced and negative pressure is formed, which, on the one hand, absorbs adequate air to mix with ore pulp, and on the other hand, stirs the ore pulp and mixes the ore pulp with medicines and refine bubbles; thus, the minerals will be adhered to the bubbles and float to the pulp surface and form foam layer. Adjust the opening of flash board and cone valve and control the liquid level to make the useful bubbles scraped out by scraper blade. For selection of flotation machines, the following information shall be indicated: Models, specifications and number of flotation cells. Number of scraper blade devices (left or right). Single-side scraping or double-side scraping. Numbers of feed boxes, middling boxes, tailing boxes, feed pipes and middling pipes. Liquid level can be controlled manually, electrically or automatically. Deployment diagram of flotation technological process should be provided.
Working Principle
Flotation machine is named as flotation cell and froth flotation concentrator.
When the impeller rotates, slurry in upper and lower impeller chambers is pushed all around by the centrifugal force produced by the action of upper and lower vanes, forming a negatives pressure. Meanwhile, the slurry on the cover plate is sucked into the upper impeller chamber through the circular hole, forming up the circulation of slurry. When the ore slurry is thrown around by the lower vane, the ore slurry under lower vane flows to the center to complement, forming the down circulation of slurry. Air sucked into the upper impeller chamber and mixes with the sucked slurry through suction pipe and center cylinder, a large amount of air bubbles is formed. After steady flow through the cover board, these bubbles are evenly dispersed in the cell, forming mineral froth. Then mineral froth will rise to the foam layer and become foam production by the scraper.
Features
The flotation machine has the advantages of large air-absorption capacity and low energy consumption. Every cell owns three functions: air absorption, slurry absorption, and flotation separation, and the cells form a floatation separation loop by itself without any auxiliary equipment, and is allocated horizontally, which favors the change of flow.The circulation of mineral slurry is reasonable, and can avoid the disposition of coarse sand to the largest extent. There is self-control device on the surface of mineral slurry, so it is easy to adjust it.The impeller has backward-inclined upper and lower vanes, which produce upper and lower circulation of mineral slurrry respectively.
