There are 2 sorts of jaw crusher: simple pendulum jaw crusher and compound pendulum jaw crusher. The former is usually made into large or medium sizes with a crushing ratio of 3 to 6, while the latter is usually made into small and medium sizes with a crushing ratio up to 10.
Although jaw crushers are in many structural types, they share the same working principle: to crush materials by periodic motion of jaws.
The jaw crusher is simply structured by working mechanism containing main body, working machine composed by movable jaw and fixed jaw, driving mechanism, adjusting device, fool proof device and lubrication system, etc.
It is mainly used in industries of mines, construction materials, road construction, cement and chemical industry, etc for crushing all kinds of ores and rocks.
