A container which directly loads valuable minerals, barren rocks or gangues. It has two types respectively for inclined shaft and vertical shaft. The skip of main shaft can also be divided into single-rope skip and multi-rope skip according to the types of lifting machine; according to different unloading methods, it can be divided into drop-bottom type and dump type for vertical shaft, and rear-dump type and dump type for inclined shaft. Drop-bottom type is used for coal mine’s vertical shaft and rear-dump type for inclined shaft; dump type is used for dump winding in metal mines and drop-bottom type for multiple-rope friction hoisting. Skip for balanced hoisting has balance rope suspension device while skip for multiple-rope hoisting has steel rope tension balancing device.
